It starts with the order of the matches. What the hell was that. ok, Rousey was the big reveal..cool, but jesus the whole stadium needed sleep after the mens rumble.
The most over thing in live wrestling right now is Rusev Day. By far the most over thing. The biggest pop in both Rumbles was for literally Rusev day. The dude has personality, size and can wrestle. His wifes one of the most attractive people too..Having him get knocked out in the Rumble when he did just took winds out of sails and made the ending so much less fun. 90% of people in that arena were hoping two guys won and cringing every time the other two guys came close. How much more fun would the ending have been if there were 4 guys in the ring people in the crowd wanted to win. Rusev, Miz/Rey, Balor and Nakamura would have been a great final 4. However, the fact that Rusev day was being chanted during the womans match and clearly annoyed Steph means one of two awful things will happen. Option 1. Vince overrules Steph and hears dollar signs so sends out Jerry Lawler to talk about this cool new Rusev Day chant and kills it from within. Option 2. Steph is pissed and Vince is pissed that a mid card comedy act got over without his permission and they bury him for the next 6 months until they release Rusev and force Lana to enter into a new gimmick where her lover is Xpac or some other decrepit friend of HHH.
